The Helichrysum Face and Body Scrub is designed for deep cleansing of the skin before applying Helichrysum day or night cream, serum, or body lotion. This oil-based scrub combines Helichrysum, almond, and calendula oils in a hydrophilic base with finely ground apricot seeds, providing an effective yet gentle exfoliation.

The Helichrysum scrub removes dead skin cells and impurities, leaving the skin thoroughly cleansed and refreshed. The blend of these oils enhances microcirculation, deeply hydrates, soothes, and revitalizes the skin, restoring its natural softness and glow.
After treatment, your skin will be soft, smooth, with a pleasant citrus scent mixed with lemongrass. This scrub is perfect for preparing the skin for further care with Nina Natural Helichrysum products, such as serum or eye cream.

How to Use

Use the scrub 1 to 2 times a week by applying it to damp, warm-water-cleansed skin (avoiding the eye area). Gently massage the scrub onto your face in circular motions. After one minute, rinse the scrub off your face or body with plenty of water.

After using the scrub, it's recommended to spray a facial tonic, wipe it off with cotton pads, and then apply Helichrysum serum to your face, avoiding the eye area. Follow this with an eye cream and finally, apply either a day or night Helichrysum cream.

Daily use isn't recommended, since skin needs time to recover between treatments. After scrubbing, follow with your usual hydration, Nina Natural Cream or Serum, as the last step of the routine.

Is the scrub suitable for sensitive skin?

The scrub is suitable for sensitive skin too, with gentler and less frequent use, once a week instead of twice. The particles in the formula are fine and shouldn't irritate most users, but it's always worth testing any new facial product on a small area first. If you feel stinging or redness, rinse it off and wait before the next use.

Does the scrub help with blackheads and breakouts?

The scrub physically removes built-up dead skin cells and impurities from the surface, which can help make blackheads less visible with regular use. For active, inflamed breakouts, physical rubbing with particles isn't recommended, since it can further irritate the skin and spread bacteria across the face. The scrub isn't suitable for vegans, as it contains beeswax (Cera Alba) in its base. The wax helps the texture stay creamy and stable, and it has no bearing on how gentle the scrub is on skin.

Does the scrub contain almond? I have an allergy.

The scrub contains almond oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis), along with helichrysum and marigold oils. If you have a known allergy to almonds or other stone fruit, don't use the product without checking first. Apply a small amount to your forearm and wait 24 hours before using it on your face for the first time, as with any new skincare product.

When can I expect the first changes in my skin after using the scrub?

Skin looks smoother right after scrubbing, thanks to the removal of dead cells from the surface.
